셰익스피어 소네트 18 (W.Shakespeare Sonnet 18)

Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?
그대 여름날에 비유될까?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
그댄 그보다 더 예쁘고 화창하다.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
모진 바람 5월의 꽃봉오리 떨구고
And Summer's lease hath all too short a date:
여름철은 너무나 짧은 것을 어쩌랴.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
때로는 천국의 빛이 너무나도 뜨겁고,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
가끔은 금빛 얼굴이 가려진다.
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
우연이나 자연의 변고로 고운 것이 상하고
By chance or nature's changing course untrim'd:
아름다운 모든 것도 가시고 말지만
But the eternal Summer shall not fade
그대 지닌 영원한 여름은 바래지 않고
